Bruising:- A area of injured tissue or skin where the blood capillaries have been raptured

leading to a discolouration of the skin.

A bruise is known by the medical term ecchymosis

Bruising is common when injecting dermal filler, however I will do everything in my power to prevent it happening

Before treatment I will:-

✔️Take a full medical history

✔️Ask you to avoid herbal and vitamin supplements

✔️Avoid aspirin

✔️Avoid non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs

✔️Avoid alcohol (2days prior)

✔️Avoid vigorous exercise (2 days prior)

During treatment I will:

✔️Use a slow injection speed which will allow the skin tissue to spread gently

✔️Apply low pressure injections

✔️Use non aggressive injection techniques

After treatment I will:-

✔️Provide you with a cold compress

✔️Apply arnica( to speed up the dissipation of any trapped blood)

✔️Give you a printed and verbal list of post treatment does and do nots

Just me keeping you safe ❤️
